Florence-based kid's wear trade show Pitti Bimbo will take place on June 24 and 25 at the Fortezza da Basso. This summer edition features the creative concept "The Pitti Pool", transforming the Fortezza into an immersive space inspired by summer. The storytelling theme centers on Splashy, the bear who leads visitors through installations, events, and high-impact visual content.
The Top Floor of the Main Pavilion remains the beating heart of the event. Thanks to the strategic curation from months of global scouting, Pitti Bimbo 103 showcases a unique mix of kidswear lifestyle, featuring over 100 leading brands, a high percentage of which are international, reflecting the new values of contemporary families. From cool tech fabrics to cutting-edge beachwear, lightweight dresses, and the most innovative accessories and objects, the selection offers international buyers a precise roadmap for capturing the desires of new consumers.
"The junior fashion market is undoubtedly going through a complex phase due to the major transformations affecting consumption, purchasing methods, distribution, and consequently the entire production system," said Ivano Cauli, ceo of Pitti Immagine. "Starting from this awareness, our response is to design a fair based on concreteness and listening to the professionals, with a particular focus on research-based fashion, tailored to children in terms of design, sustainable practices, and communication content. Pitti Bimbo is the leading event for the Italian children's fashion industry and one of the unmissable events on the international scene: we trust that serving the market will represent a push towards a concrete and widespread recovery of the sector."
Alongside the confirmed thematic formats, such as "100% Bambino" and the second edition of "The New Edit", which confirms its role as an incubator for contemporary kidswear, "The Cabina" will debut in the Fortezza in June as an area dedicated to brands to watch. Furthermore, "The Family Circle", the Hamburg-based platform for family-focused events founded by Nadine Jung, strengthens its role as a key lifestyle hub for the industry. Piazza Pirouette will return to the Fortezza da Basso with an exhibition space curated by Katie Kendrick of Pirouette, designed to foster a seamless connection between the most original kids' brands and top international buyers, and a runway show on June 24. The collective catwalk "Splash!" will also be set up, a multi-brand show scheduled for June 25, designed by Pitti Immagine to interpret the theme The Pitti Pool.
At Pitti Immagine Bimbo, Miniconf will celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Ido brand, while Sticky Lemon will blow out the first ten candles. 'Shop Survivor', Italy's leading retail growth program, created by Massimiliano Alvisi, will return. Held at the Fortezza da Basso, the workshop will offer buyers and industry professionals concrete tools to address today's market challenges. In addition, Style Piccoli presents a new exhibition to celebrate its 18th anniversary.
The fair launches a new Speed Date format, a business accelerator designed to connect brands, buyers, and the media. Brands have a strategic opportunity to present their story to selected buyers and the press, condensing creativity and vision into a powerful pitch. With an original "brand passport", buyers will collect a stamp at each meeting, earning access to an exclusive gift at the end of the tour. Pitti Bimbo also focuses on digital content with a styling project dedicated to the Fall/Winter 2026 previews. The protagonists are stylists and content creators Maria Montane and Charlotte Kewley, who have curated a series of looks. Also making its debut is "The Brand Clinic", a project designed to strengthen brand identity and visibility in an increasingly competitive market, led by Grethel Signamarcheix, founder of Design Hunger.
Café Delajoie is also opening, an oasis inspired by French cafés and the elegance of Paris. More than a café, it's a creative hub conceived by the Delajoie duo as a meeting place for buyers, brands, and the press. Featuring designer furnishings and a curated selection of French brands, the space offers a seamless experience that blends business and pleasure. A joyful and sophisticated place to connect, work, and be inspired by the rhythm and energy of French joie de vivre.
