New Collection

For his Fall/Winter 2011 / 2012 collection, Kris Van Assche designs Eastpack bags and luggage.

Kris Van Assche borrowed the tennager/sportswear codes of EASTPACK in order to design a collection also reflecting his own recurring features : pure lines, softness and sobriety.

Either backpacks, handbags or shoulder bags, the seven Eastpak/Krisvanassche models mix parachute cloth, leather and raw cloth. They are available in the range of 3 fadable colours - black, grey, natural beige – echoing the designer’s Fall/Winter 2011-2012 collection. The bags’ line is naturally influenced by sportswear, typical of EASTPAK, and a look both classical and sort of military, more Krisvanassche. As a symbol of this special collaboration, each piece has its own metal key holder, carved with the names of both brands.

The Eastpak by Kris Van Assche collection, previewed on January 21. 2011 at the Paris Fashion Week, will be available from next June on in a selection of Eastpack and Krisvanassche Points-of-Sales. Price : between 50 and 250 euros (between about 75 and 370$).
