V.SP...., Very Special Pieces of Vespucci
Graduated from Bosphorus University, Kadri Soygul started fashion in leather industry, used for the first time the name “Vespucci” in a small leather boutique in Rue de La Fontaine, in Geneva, in 1996. Later, with his partner Coskun Kutbay, they introduced Vespucci to other European countries such as France, Germany, Austria, Benelux and Russia as a ‘’progressive leather brand’’. In 2006, deeply believing in ‘’different perspectives by different cultures’’, he started to collaborate with creative French designer Yohan Serfaty and, later, inspirational young designers from Turkey, Belgium and Slovenia. In 2007, he launched as the designer brand, V.SP…. . The first collection, “innovating and fashionizing the classical look of traditional shearling coats for modern European Woman”, boomed the sales in Milan and Dusseldorf showrooms.
By means of artisan crafted techniques, the structural contrasts are mostly transformed into soft transitions.
