On October 19, the Turin-based brand Serienumerica will showcase its new Spring-Summer 2015 collection with a catwalk performance organized by the multi-brand showroom VDS. With a minimalistic approach to fashion, Serienumerica's designs pay tribute to the Italian artisanal heritage, while reinventing classic staples in a contemporary way. For its Shanghai debut, the brand teamed up with VDS, Italian acronym for “Via della Seta” (Silk Road), which is supported by the Lenovo Group and the Phoenix Tv. The aim of VDS, in collaboration with the Beijing Design Week and the Shanghai Fashion Week, is to create a connection between East and West by connecting emerging international brands, such as Serienumerica to the fashion industry worldwide.
