A knitwear day at La Triennale di Milano

[size=14]The Triennale of Milan, the 24th of March hosted Maglifico - Knit Talks, an open day organized for insiders and creatives, but also for designers and fashion lovers. In a Knit Lounge area by Missoni Home took part two Knit Talk, a dialog between the best knitwear firms, spinners, best productors, experts, reporters and trend searchers.[/size]

Artistic installations illustrate the evolution of knitwear: from Missoni mosaics and patchworks, designers like Saverio Palatella, Giovanni Cavagna and Boboutic, specialized brands like [size=14]Avant Toi[/size] and Paolo Pecora, to creations of Vittorio Branchizio, Carlo Volpi, Luca Larenza, Sansovino 6, Paolo Errico, Elise Perrotta and Sandra Backlund and then some works done by the best students of Design Master in Knitwear at Politecnico di Milano.

During the day it was also introduced the new Maglifico - Knit Talks book, edited by Silvana Editoriale, curated by Giovanni Maria Conti, Federico Poletti e Costanza Rinaldi who presents essaies, theoretical texts, lots of interviews and testimonies of the protagonists of such a complex sector.
