Italian multi-brand luxury retailer LuisaViaRoma has appointed Alessandra Rossi as its new chief executive.
In September the Florentine company received a €130 million (about $152 million) investment from Milan private equity fund Style Capital led by Roberta Benaglia.

Former chief executive Andrea Panconesi remains chairman of the board of directors with a 60 percent stake in the company founded by his grandmother in 1929.

Andrea Panconesi and I are thrilled to have Alessandra Rossi appointed as ceo, to strengthen the structure of the company for a future listing,” said Roberta Benaglia, chief executive of Style Capital, in a statement.

Alessandra Rossi has more than 20 year of experience in the fashion and e-commerce industry, most recently held the role of Managing Director and President of Yoox and The Outnet.
As the new chief executive of LuisaViaRoma, Rossi will aim to growth in international markets and strengthen its domestic business.
