Artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri will present her 2023 cruise collection on 16 June at Plaza de España in Seville, a space of 50 thousand square meters designed by the architect Annibale González.
The event “will showcase the excellence of Andalusian craftsmanship and culture through the creativity of local artists and artisans”, the house statement reads. "Dior and Spain, and more specifically Andalusia, were forged as early as the 1950s, and have been strengthened ever since.”

With pandemic restrictions in the West, the fashion industry physical shows for cruise collections returned. Dior staged physical shows for cruise in Piazza del Duomo in Lecce in Italy in July 2020, and at the Acropolis in Athens in June 2021. The fashion house also announced that it will show its pre-fall 2022 collection on April 30 in Seoul, South Korea an its Spring 2023 men’s pre-collection on May 19 in Los Angeles. Louis Vuitton will reveal its cruise collection on May 12 at the Salk Institute in San Diego; Chanel will stage its cruise show on May 5 in Monaco, finally Gucci will present its cruise collection on May 16, in a location not yet announced.
