The brand LR3 Louis Rubi presents its new collection as a world premiere at the 30th edition of the 080 Barcelona Fashion Week. It is LR3 Experience, a project that combines technology, art and fashion, through a path where visitors can discover firsthand the values of a brand born to change the rules of the game of the fashion industry.

LR3 Experience is an ode to the beauty that is not the prototype. When you stop judging others, you start to see the beauty in yourself and from there, you can start to appreciate clothes without restrictions. This is the proposal of LR3 Louis Rubi, which moreover is presented in a format unseen in a fashion show.

This project, directed by Louis Rubi and his partner Daniel Corrales, involves the participation of twenty professionals from different disciplines: 3D programming, games, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, audiovisual creations, ephemeral architecture, performative lighting, graphic arts and sculpture. It is an intervention in the Pavelló del Carmen of the Art Nouveau site of Sant Pau in Barcelona. The space is divided into three rooms in which, in addition to discovering the new LR3 Louis Rubi collection in an unprecedented way, visitors will take a journey between the real and the virtual that aims to transform the way we perceive ourselves and how we dress. LR3 Experience recreates a world where everyone can wear what makes them happy, regardless of their size, age, gender, origin or hair color.

The new LR3 Louis Rubi collection is inspired by his signature play of color, volume, proportion and movement. This season, the play goes further with a contrast of fabrics, such as lluentons, boiled wool, silks, denim, fleece, ribbed or guipure. LR3 Experience is a turning point in the evolution of a brand created three years ago with the intention of promoting change in the fashion world. The idea is to continue to develop new technological and artistic spaces that enhance the user experience within the brand. A transformation that goes from developing a video game to exploring the possibilities offered by artificial intelligence or the metaverse.

ABOUT LOUIS RUBI
His career is a bildungsroman, essentially a coming-of-age story. A consequence of non-conformism and pure passion to build personal projects and help others build them. In his 16 years in the corporate world of fashion companies, he had the opportunity to exercise multiple responsibilities: visual merchandising director, stylist, design coordinator, shopping experience creator or image director of a multinational. A career that has given him an understanding of both the business side and the creative process.

Five years ago, he opened his own consulting company. During these years he was able to work with Virgil Abloh (Off-White and Louis Vuitton) Francisco Costa, Sonae Group, Peace Bird, Ethosen, Calcaterra, Ader Error and many others.

Three years ago, with Daniel Corrales, they launched LR3 Louis Rubi. A project where everything he learned during his career is put into practice, following the values that a fashion brand should have.
