Bikkembergs choose a new partner for its ready-to-wear collections. The fashion label, owned by Chinese firm Modern Avenue Group via the Levitas company, has signed an agreement with the Italian company Factory, founded in 2008 in Fucecchio, near Florence, by Ferrero Rosati. Factory is specialized in the manufacture of leather pieces, owner of the ready-to-wear brand Drome, the label launched fourteen years ago by Marianna Rosati.

This agreement will last for a period of five years and will debut with fall/winter 2023-2024. It covers the production and distribution of womenswear and menswear collections designed by Lee Wood, Bikkembergs' creative director. The collections will be sold through a new international distribution network, which include the showroom opened by Factory in the heart of Milan's Fashion District. The project kicks off with the sale of a men's fall 2023 pre-collection, while the first main collection will be unveiled in Florence, at Pitti Uomo trade fair in January. The goal is to bring the brand back to its original positioning as a premium line, "consolidating its brand identity so that it can once again be a point of reference in the urban fashion segment," the group said in a statement.

Bikkembergs wants to expand geographically starting with Bikkemberg's current 400 multi-brand boutiques and department stores in the world. Priorities will be to consolidate its reference markets such as Italy, Spain, Eastern Europe, through a network of increasingly selected partners, but also moving into new territories such as the Middle East and Northern Europe, with a focus on Germany and Belgium, and strengthening within major chains of stores in the United States.
