Seoul Fashion Week SS 2025, a five-day event, consists of various programs such as trade shows and showroom tours in addition to the traditional runway.
The DDP (Dongdaemun Design Plaza) Showroom, located on the first level of DDP Design Lab, presents a fashion order exhibit from September 3 to 5, during the five days of Seoul Fashion Week SS25 to showcase top Koreand brands. Every season, the trade expo aligns with Seoul Fashion Week and serves as a bridge between local and foreign buyers and businesses, facilitating the closing of deals.
This season, 28 labels have declared their participation in the showroom tour, while 62 apparels, accessories, and jewelry businesses, including those taking part in Seoul Fashion Week, have revealed their participation in the order exhibition. In all, 120 purchasers from 24 different countries, both domestic and foreign, will visit the site to see, feel, and interact with the collections of top Korean fashion labels.
Seoul Fashion Week features an even balance of international buyers from Asia, Europe, and the Americas to help K-Fashion expand its influence beyond Asia in this season. Major department stores, editorial shops, and online shopping malls with a significant possibility of completing contracts is of the invited buyers, offering K-Fashion businesses an additional opportunity to get attention in the global market.
Seoul Fashion Week has been running showroom tours in downtown Seoul for buyers since the 2024 FW season.
A program named the "Showroom Tour" brings clients into the brand’s showroom, aside from the DDP showroom, to get up close and personal with the collection’s products and the brand’s unique heritage. The program was well-received by both brand labels and buyers last season, covering 22 brands in two locations, Cheongdam and Seongsu, and enhancing brand understanding while completing deals with significant international buyers.
In light of these successes, Seoul Fashion Week SS25 increases the number of showroom tours it provides in order to facilitate constructive dialogue and brand-buyer matching. Hannam is the most recent area to join the tour, rounding up the Seoul neighborhoods that symbolize K-Fashion, following Cheongdam and Seongsu. In an effort to reach international markets, a total of 18 showrooms and 28 brands will host this season’s showroom tour.
