This autumn, British milliner Stephen Jones can celebrate the 30th anniversary of his House, Stephen Jones Millinery. The anniversary will be marked with an exposition of the artists work.

The MoMu–Fashion Museum in Antwerp - who houses the largest collection of Stephen Jones hats outside of Great Britain, presents in that occasion an exceptional retrospective exhibition Stephen Jones & The Accent of Fashion, which will guide you through the exiting world of a hatmaker, who for the past decades, has worked with many of the greatest names in international fashion: Jean Paul Gaultier, Thierry Mugler, Comme des Garçons, John Galliano, Christian Dior and Azzedine Alaïa just to name but a few. A true artist, who plays an extraordinary behind-the-scenes role in fashion - thanks to the unparalleled freedom he is given by the designers, as they allow his work to influence the image of a collection.
The exhibition will furthermore offer a closer look into his work in film, music and photography, his early years in London under the New Romanticism movement, his unique relationship with fashion icon Anna Piaggi, the creative process and the sources of inspiration behind his creations.
