The winter edition of Pitti Uomo, number 107, will take place at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence from January 14 to 17, 2025 presenting around 790 brands, of which 45% are foreign.

"Fashion is going through a complex phase of transition," said Raffaello Napoleone, ceo of Pitti Immagine, "and here at Pitti Immagine, we can’t just stand by and watch. We need to interpret this change, translating it into market decisions and communication strategies, even if it means taking risks. For instance, we've pushed more than ever before on mixing product categories and boldly blending fashion and lifestyle. We’ve also chosen to focus special attention on running culture, viewing it as a phenomenon that fosters an ideal community beyond mere consumption, a model that could inspire similar projects driven by emerging trends likely to make a lasting mark. Equally exciting is the space we’ve dedicated to international collaborations led by other promotional organizations: it’s a unique feature of the show, allowing us to explore, select, and catalog the most significant developments in the fashion world."

The theme "Fire" is the common thread, and five sections, including Fantastic Classic, Futuro Maschile, Dynamic Attitude, Superstyling, and I Go Out, are included in this edition. The Knees Up Running Space project is also included. There are numerous returns, anniversaries, and special collaborations, in addition to the two big events dedicated to Setchu and MM Maison Margiela.

Among the events to highlight are RRD-Roberto Ricci Designs, which in the spaces of the Polveriera will present a completely stitchless capsule, designed for those seeking uncompromising style and comfort, but also of Basicnet, which will showcase the iconic shoe brand Superga tennis shoes and, an independent space, also the new collection of Sebago shoes and clothing.

W.P. Lavori in Corso will be at Pitti Uomo in a larger and renovated space, presenting the new collections of its famous brands including Barbour (see paragraph below), Baracuta, Blundstone, Filson, Spiewak, BD Baggies.

Mackintosh, the historic English brand of raincoats and coats, returns to Pitti Uomo to present new collections, such as the Mackintosh Mainline, the result of collaborations with some of the main fashion companies. For over 200 years, Mackintosh has been producing outerwear in the name of craftsmanship, competence, and constant design evolution.

The new features also include Stuart Weitzman, a leader in the women's luxury footwear sector for over 35 years, who will debut with his first men's collection; Tramarossa, which will present the collaboration with Abarth, a tribute to speed and craftsmanship.

Although it is known for its iconic outerwear made with Ocean Yarn from the sea, in this edition of Pitti Uomo, Ecoalf will present a special capsule collection in 100% recycled wool, so soft that it seems like pure cashmere. The handmade garments are designed to become iconic and timeless pieces. Other appointments are Hidesign, Wasted by Potato Head, G-Star Raw, Alpha Tauri, Nobis, Ecoalf, Paul & Joe, Outhere, Manifattura Ceccarelli, Engels&Marte, and Two.One.

Slam Jam, the Italian fashion and street culture platform celebrates its 35th anniversary with a special night at Palazzo Borghese.

There are also numerous international collaborations such as China Wave, with the best of contemporary menswear; Scandinavian Manifesto, a showcase of the most innovative fashion on the Nordic scene; the fifth edition of the project J Quality, focusing on quality Japanese clothing and textile and clothing production areas; Japan Leather Showroom which brings a special selection of six leather accessories brands; and Promas, which will present a new generation of French brands.
