Milan Men's Fashion Week took place from January 17 to 21, 2025 showcasing collections dedicated to the FW25/26 season through around seventy appointments, including fashion shows, presentations, and events. The calendar presented big names and several debuts of Italian and foreign emerging talents. Modem has selected six interesting labels to watch for Winter 2025: Qasimi, Maragno, Hevò, Rold Skov, Saul Nash, and Montecore.
QASIMI
Qasimi is a London-based fashion brand with a Middle Eastern heritage founded in 2015 by Khalid al-Qasimi. The brand focuses on crafting understated and refined garments from a perspective that reflects its multicultural origins. The brand’s narrative centers around the idea of an urban nomad whose endeavors take one on various journeys across the Arab world, a culture dialogue and exchange, seeking to unite rather than divide through the powerful medium of clothes. The new collection designed by Hoor Al Qasimi, twin sister to Khalid and creative director of the brand, aims to amplify, through fashion, a transversal message, highlighting the talent of artists and creatives worldwide. This season the designer collaborated with the artist of Māori origins Emily Karaka delving into the history and culture of this people, as well as exploring themes such as territorial disputes and political oppression.
MARAGNO
Maragno was founded by Giulio Maragno, who was born and evolved as a fashion stylist working for over sixteen years in the fashion scenario, contributing with his style to enhance advertising campaigns, catalogs, and several e-commerce companies. He has collaborated with well-known brands such as MaxMara, OVS, and Upim. Maragno is more than just a brand, it is the authentic expression of a philosophy of life that celebrates beauty, harmony, and the uniqueness of living. At the heart of the designer's creative vision is the freedom and individuality that exists beyond any label or convention. That’s why Maragno is a genderless brand. The brand’s mission is to return to the authentic beauty of the past. The tailored pieces are carefully designed, using premium materials such as cashmere, wool, and silk, embracing the concept of “upcycling.” Each fabric is sourced from the dead stock of major fashion houses, making each creation unique and unrepeatable.
HEVÒ
Hevò is a fashion brand born from the beauty and history of Apulia, a region located in the south of Italy. The Fall/Winter 2025/26 collection stands as a testament to style, innovation, and sustainability, drawing inspiration from the timeless charm of Castel del Monte, a symbol of Italian history and culture. Hevò has paid special attention to material selection, blending aesthetics and practicality. The collection features garments crafted from three different weights of wool and padding, ensuring versatility and comfort.
ROLD SKOV
Rold Skov is an Italian menswear brand founded by Francesco Rossini in 2016. As an independent menswear brand conceived and made entirely in Italy, Rold Skov triangulates itself between design, tailoring, music, and fashion, combining an aesthetic a bit 1990s-spiced,sportswear-inclined but, above all, clean-cut and contemporary. Rold Skov aims to deliver clothing “built for life” both in terms of materials’ durability and timeless designs. Rold Skov is not a “trending” fashion brand, nor “hype” is in its agenda: Rold Skov coherently embodies Rossini’s persona, path, and aesthetics. The FW25/26 collection showcases the brand's link with the aesthetics of subcultures, particularly those of the nineties and 2000s.
SAUL NASH
Saul Nash is a London-based designer who established his eponymous brand in 2018. At the core of the brand is Nash’s desire to create technical garments for movement; his body of work oscillates between the world of fashion and dance. Since the brand's inception, Nash has examined technical menswear outside of societal norms. Essential to the DNA of the label is a persistent study of genderless sportswear and dedication to redefining traditional athleisure codes reinterpreted in a contemporary key. The FW25/26 collection is titled “Metamorphosis” and focuses on the movement as a synonym for freedom.
MONTECORE
Montecore embraces a conscious and artisanal approach, where quality and sustainability come together to create garments that transcend fleeting trends. Through targeted and efficient production, the FW25/26 collection stands out for its innovative use of technical and natural fabrics, offering high performance without compromising comfort. Each piece is designed to endure over time, evolving alongside those who choose it, embodying values of authenticity, personality, and mindfulness. Montecore does not merely offer clothing but a unique sartorial experience that celebrates the relationship between style, functionality, and the constant flow of time.
