The Seoul Metropolitan Government hosted the Seoul Fashion Forum on February 5, marking a significant moment in the 25th anniversary celebrations of Seoul Fashion Week. Under the theme “Fashion City Seoul, K-Fashion’s Now and Future”, the event aimed to highlight the growing potential and international competitiveness of K-Fashion as Seoul continues to establish itself as a global fashion hub.
Held at DDP Art Hall 2, the forum attracted over 200 industry professionals and media representatives. Co-hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and WWD Korea, the event featured influential fashion leaders from around the world, who shared insights on the future of fashion and the increasing global impact of Korean fashion.

A key session included a fireside chat between James Fallon, Chief Content Officer of WWD & Fairchild, and Antonio De Matteis, CEO of Kiton Group and Chairman of Pitti Immagine. The discussion focused on "The Global Standards of Fashion and the Future of Luxury". Additionally, Joonho Jung, CEO of Lotte Department Store, led a session on "The Current Landscape and Future of K-Fashion", while a final panel discussion, "The Power of K-Fashion and K-Culture", featured notable figures such as Kwangho Shin, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Korea and the actress Eunse Ki.
The forum emphasized Seoul’s vision as a leading fashion city, exploring the future trajectory of K-Fashion in the global market. As K-pop stars and Korean designers gain international recognition, the discussions reflected the growing influence of Korean culture across various industries. The Seoul Fashion Forum’s success highlights the city's continued role in shaping the future of fashion.
