The Milan Men's Fashion Week schedule included several shows and presentations. Some exciting names made their debut, capturing the attention of industry insiders. Here’s a quick look.

QASIMI



Qasimi is a London-based fashion brand with a Middle Eastern heritage, founded in 2015 by Khalid Al Qasimi. The brand focuses on crafting understated and refined garments from a perspective that reflects its multicultural origins. A brand deeply rooted in the merging of cultures, socio-political inspirations, craft, and a sophisticated flair for colour. For its 10th anniversary, the label unveils a collection inspired by the work of Khalid Al Qasimi, twin brother of designer Hoor Al Qasimi, who passed away in 2019.

SETCHU



The brand name “Setchu” comes from a Japanese word, “Wayo Setchu”. With “Wayo” denoting Japan and the West and “Setchu” meaning compromise, the brand represents the blending of Japanese and Western concepts, a compromise between the two cultures. The fusion of two diverse cultures, through their styles and concepts, creates something new from something familiar. With inspiration taken from classic objects, Setchu creates simple and functional garments through this fusion. The concept of unisex and interchangeability between the genders is the main focus of Setchu’s branding.

LEONARDOVALENTINI



Leonardovalentini is an aesthetic project of artisanal experimentation, made in Italy, born to enhance the excellence of fine leathers, refined silks, and research in embroidery. Founded in 2021 by Leonardo Valentini, the genderless brand is based on key values ​​such as specialized labor, high-quality materials, and sustainability. It collaborates with artisans and small Italian businesses, maintaining an authentic bond with the territory. Storytelling is the beating heart of the creative process: each collection is born from a deep introspection, which translates into unique details and builds the brand's identity. The SS26 collection is named "Robert Yell", a project that blends fashion, art, and music, dedicated to the iconic figure of Roberto Cavalli, reinterpreted in a personal and contemporary key. The collection was presented through an exhibition of 11 photographic portraits, each of which depicts an artist from the Italian music scene. The Leonardovalentini brand vision is defined by three keywords: 50% glam, 30% punk, 20% wild, an aesthetic code that permeates the entire collection.

MERlISI



Meriisi is a menswear project founded in 2022, combining classic and modern. It blends techniques and fabrics from the classic Italian men's tailoring, as well as the leather savoir-faire traditions. All this has led to the definition of a strongly dark & eclectic aesthetic, with references to the "underworld" of the '80s and '90s: subcultures and their musical influence are the main fuel of the project. All those elements have brought the creation of a very recognisable iconography, rich in elements typical of the sacred world as well as the profane, in which the symbolic link with the world of Caravaggio is fully expressed. The collections are entirely made in Italy, and 80% of them are created using deadstock fabrics, yarns, and unused accessories.

ROWEN ROSE



Rowen Rose is a Paris-based fashion luxury brand founded in September 2018 by Emma Rowen Rose, a Parisian born, raised in a Spanish and Polish family. As a result, the brand thrives on contrasts and ambivalence: elegant yet modern, bold yet traditional, feminine yet masculine, it challenges stereotypes to create a unique style. The brand also blends past influences, processes, and aesthetics with a forward-looking approach, producing a distinctive luxury product with a new ethical and sustainable production, fully made in Italy. Inspired by the ancient Greek and Roman thermal baths, the collection reimagines the wardrobe of an eternal retreat, between architectural shoulders sculpted with precision, intricate pleating, exquisite embroideries, and exclusive prints.
