The new edition of Italian Fashion Days in Korea, the exhibition project presenting a selection of collections from Italian companies on the Korean market, is taking place from July 15 to July 17, 2025, in Seoul, at The Platz pavilion in Coex, the most important exhibition center in Gangnam, the district home to the Korean capital's main showrooms, distributors, department stores, and retail chains.

The event features 30 Italian brands presenting their Spring/Summer 2026 collections for women's and men's fashion, including clothing, outerwear, footwear, leather goods, and accessories.

This edition of Italian Fashion Days in Korea is also being organized in collaboration between Ente Moda Italia, the Italian Fur Association, Assocalzaturifici, Assopellettieri, and Confindustria Moda, in partnership with Bottega Italia. The event, supported by the Italian Embassy in Seoul, is organized with ICE, which coordinates local promotion and contributes to the project through the ICE Fiere Smart 365 digital platform, dedicated to enhancing the visibility of Italian companies in international markets.

Among the new features is the trunk show organized by EMA Elite Model Agency, with the support of ITA Seoul, scheduled for July 16 at 4:30 pm and open to the public, influencers, and fashion enthusiasts.

"Our participation in Italian Fashion Days in South Korea is of fundamental importance for the Italian footwear industry," said Giovanna Ceolini, president of Assocalzaturifici. "Being here allows us to strengthen the presence of our design and quality in a vibrant, trend-conscious market. The data for the first quarter of 2025 speaks for itself. The Korean market, with a value of €50.67 million and 296,000 pairs of shoes at an average price of over €171, ranks 15th in national exports. It is therefore an unmissable opportunity for our companies to directly showcase the excellence and craftsmanship that distinguish Italian footwear to high-spending consumers in the Far East. I also strongly emphasize how physical presence at international events of this caliber is crucial to promoting and appreciating our shoes, building a direct connection with the local public. This contact is essential not only for the visibility of Made in Italy products, but also for increasing exports of our companies, which find significant opportunities for growth and development in markets like Korea. Especially in light of the current economic climate, marked by conflict and the risk of tariffs.

"Despite the current economic and geopolitical challenges of the international scenario, South Korea confirmed its position as one of the most strategic markets for Italian leather goods in 2024, ranking fifth among our export destinations," commented Claudia Sequi, President of Assopellettieri. "We sold €819 million in goods there; a figure that, compared to the pre-COVID period, shows a significant growth of 27%, reinforcing Assopellettieri's belief in the importance of continuing to support companies in their internationalization efforts in this country. Initiatives like 'Italian Fashion Days in Korea' represent a valuable opportunity for our companies to gain visibility. These projects allow companies to present themselves at their best on the Korean market and promote the quality, creativity, and excellence of Italian fashion, contributing to the global recognition of Made in Italy. Furthermore, synergistic collaboration with other players in the fashion industry is a key element in amplifying the reach and impact of these initiatives."
