The exhibition is dedicated to one of the leading figures of the Italian contemporary art scene. A rebellious anthology featuring 70 works by the Sicilian painter, ranging from provocation to beauty: contemporary pop paintings and sculptures, at times alienating, often critical reflections on themes of society, visual culture, politics, and religion. The works on display include Novecento, The Massacre of the Innocents, Intouchables, and Selfie, a contemporary reinterpretation of Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring. Anthology is a journey through twenty-five years of artistic production, a visual narrative that blends pop art, historical references, mass culture, symbolism, and social commentary. It is an experience designed to provoke reflection and shake up convictions, but also to restore the power of the image as a contemporary language.
