From April 22 to 26, 2015 Munich will host the second edition of KINO DER KUNST, a unique event of its kind worldwide to present films by visual artists who take cinema beyond its traditional boundaries and explore new narrative fictitious forms. KINO DER KUNST is designed to be an exhibition and a film festival in one, creating a showcase for today’s trends in art and an international meeting point for artists, curators and the public. In 2015, it focuses on the subject 'Science & Fiction' and explores the latest techniques of narration in films by visual artists, thereby demonstrating how technological inventions and concepts of contemporary art dominate the commercial media industry.
