Fantasy Access Code. Alcantara and 6 artists on a journey through the Apartment of the Prince

Alcantara’s third exhibition project at Palazzo Reale, Fantasy Access Code is the second show in a cycle curated by Davide Quadrio and Massimo Torrigiani, aimed at reinterpreting a space with strong historical connotations along contemporary lines.

The six international artists called upon to take part in this mission are: Aki Kondo, Michael Lin, Soundwalk Collective, Georgina Starr, Nanda Vigo and Lorenzo Vitturi.

Formafantasma asked by Spazio Krizia to occupy and re-open the Milanese venue after a few years of absence.

Selection of both objects, the majority developed for the Delta Collection (Galleria Giustini Stagetti, Roma) and a series of experimentations with light developed for the independent Art Centre Peep-Hole in Milan.

'Foundation' will also preview part of a new collaboration of the designers with the Textiel Museum in Tilburg that will be fully presented in the next year.

Galleria Fragile presents on the occasion of the Salone del Mobile 2017 "Selfie. Installation as self-representation” and “ACME goes to Milan”

ACME goes to Milan:
Retrospective exhibition of the most iconic jewelry ever conceived by ACME STUDIO that since 1985, collaborated with the figures such as Ettore Sottsass, Alessandro Mendini, Peter Shire, Adrian Olabuenaga, Andrea Branzi, Beppe Caturegli, Aldo Cibic, George Sowden, Aldo Rossi, Martine Bedin, Michele De Lucchi, Natalie Du Pasquier and Matteo Thun. This exhibition fits with the series of events planned to celebrate Ettore Sottsass’s 100th birth anniversary, the latter being one of the main designers whose necklaces, earrings and brooches are here exhibited.

Selfie. Installation as self-representation
The exhibition will be an opportunity to reflect on the theme of the selfie as self-representation in the world of interior design. Four designers Massimiliano Adami, Alessandra Baldereschi, Marzio Rusconi Clerici and Paolo Ulian, have met this challenge realizing site-specific installations by exhibiting themselves, not through portraits or design objects, but by generating installations capable of dialogue with space , time and self-image.

Fuori catalogo – 5 photographers interpret 5 products by Vico Magistretti

Fuori catalogo is an exhibition that looks at five Vico Magistretti designs, all of which are out of production, through the lenses of five young photographers.
The selected objects are: a light, a table, a bookshelf and two chairs. All are iconic, with distinct stories to tell, and all five designs are remarkable for their contemporaneity. Even if (currently) not available on the market, each object is an important reference for contemporary design, today. Magistretti’s designs continue to be sources of inspiration for future projects; others offer a critical comment from the past.
