RETRATOS ILUMINADOS

Antonio Marras host Retratos Iluminados by Estudio Campana. The lamps, that seem wide flags suspended in the air, revail the faces of the artisans women who created Retratos Iluminado shown during the recent Brazilian Crafts Reference Center (CRAB) in Rio de Janeiro.

Design Nomade

How is the design of objects, interiors and public spaceschanging in the era of mobile technology and neo- nomadism? How are the shapes, materials, interfaces, uses, and archetypes of design changing?

Design Nomade, the first exhibition project based on an international call by BASE Milano, under the supervision of Stefano Mirti,features several different examples built around the idea of deft design, conceived for the new needs of contemporarylifestyle: from To ManyPlaces, the pop-up hotel by Emmy Polkamp, to Water Bed, the water-floatinghouse by Daniel Durnin,with a focus on the technological experimentations of HOMI Smart.

From coffee-grinders to toothbrushes, FATTOBENE curates a selection of everyday classics, based on beauty, longevity, and unique design: this will be an occasion to discover their exceptional stories and buy a little piece of Italian iconic heritage.

The shop opens on the occasion of the Milan Design Week and will remain open until April 21st 2017.

Peuterey and Vespa Join Venture at Milan Design Week.

The two brands have teamed up to develop a co-branded see now-buy now capsule collection, which will be immediately available at selected flagships of the two brands, at their online shops, as well as La Rinascente department store in Milan.
