| The 11th DMY International Design Festival will offer insights into the contemporary design practice and emerging currents. Over 700 designers, firms and institutions will introduce new products, prototypes and material innovations. Next to market-ready, serial products, the showcases shed a special light upon the processes and concepts that led to the final designs. Design Schools and universities give further insights into current design research and its latest accomplishments. The festival is a platform for showcasing design, communicating and cooperating, sharing knowledge as well as making design. The exhibitions are accompanied by a vast programme of lectures, workshops and a makerlab, symposia, designer talks and evening events, reflecting on current trends and future developments within the design field.
