| BDW is growing in 2013 - from a key South East European creative festival with a global reputation, to a very ambitious ‘World Design Festival’ - the first of its kind - whilst keeping the focus on BDW’s key non-profit grassroots mission and vision of educating thousands of future creative opinion leaders in the South East European region. The social issues we are facing at the moment, from environmental challenges to economic crisis, require innovation and creativity. We need to use design as a driving force for the growth of the knowledge-based economy. | ||
