La designer Beca Lipscombe et l’artiste Lucy McKenzie ont associé leur intérêt pour l’ornement, l’histoire du motif et du display en créant en 2007 un label de mode, Atelier E.B.
Leur première exposition en France est à la croisée de la création contemporaine, de l’histoire de la mode et de la muséographie. Elle s’ouvre sur un showroom réalisé sur mesure pour présenter leur dernière collection, Jasperwear et présente ensuite un ensemble d’archives autour de recherches historiques sur le rôle du mannequin de la sculpture antique aux vitrines des grands magasins pour s’achever sur une série de commandes passées à des artistes contemporains sensibles à ces sujets.
