Israeli-born designer Hed Mayner following his studies at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, moved to Paris to attend the Institut Français de la Mode, developing his unique sartorial vision. Since the launch of his brand, Hed Mayner has combined fluid drapery, dramatic volume and masculine forms that create a sophisticated vision. Luxurious fabrics and neutral colours are at the base of  his wardrobe staples. His influences go from spiritual clothing to military tailoring, redefining menswear classics with a modernist, but yet poetic touch.

Berlin-based label Ottolinger is a collaboration between Swiss-born designers Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient. After meeting at the Basel School of Design, the two quickly started their avant-garde and anti-commercial challenge to luxury fashion’s status quo. Their signature aesthetic truly blazes through immaculately finished products that are burnt, ripped, and manipulated into bold new forms. The result represents an harmony between their meticulous construction and their punk rebellious attitude. Military-inspired trousers and outerwear are matched with mesh tops and feminine laces. Shredded skirts and raw-edged cut-outs are linked by asymmetric shapes for an unconventional seductive appeal.

Yayi Chen’s artistic inspirations stem from her unique trilingual and multicultural upbringing, growing up in both Spain and China. She was immersed in the artistic atmosphere of both distinct cultures, which heavily ignited her passion towards fine art and fashion design. She studied fashion design at Parsons the New School for Design, New York campus as well as exchanging to Central Saint Martins in London. Through her stay in New York, she has worked for the renowned fashion houses including The Row and Thom Browne. The contrast between the representational aspects of traditional eastern philosophy and the conceptual identity within contemporary art has stimulated Yayi’s interest in challenging the traditional interpretation of fashion. Her research and creation often focuses on women’s identity in the society throughout history within multicultural backgrounds.
