On the occasion of the launch of the “Azure Colors” special series, from September 10 to October 11, 2026, the brand will take over a dedicated space. Presenting an immersive installation inspired by the ever-changing colors of the sky, the space offers visitors a new opportunity to engage with the distinctive world of Pleats Please Issey Miyake, where innovative pleating techniques, freedom of movement, and a vibrant approach to color come together in garments designed for contemporary everyday life.

Conceived as an immersive environment, the pop-up draws inspiration from the sky and its constant transformations. Shades of blue, a sense of lightness, and the gentle movement of clouds are translated into a three-dimensional installation, creating a space that seems to float between color, light, and air.

An avid vintage hat collector who has traveled to over 70 countries, her work is inspired by discovery, history, and muses like Madonna, Grace Jones, and Isabella Blow. Puie’s designs explore costume, cinema, eroticism, and the power dynamics of dressing—blending seduction, status, and theatrical excess to champion bold, unmistakable personal style.

From September 21 to 29, DAAD Dantone is proud to host an exclusive pop-up and exhibition dedicated to Communs, the Paris-based label founded in 2017, known for its deeply conceptual and artisanal approach to fashion. Located at the flagship space in Via della Spiga 25, Milan, the exhibition highlights Communs' mastery of natural dyes, including Japanese indigo, and its unique ability to bridge historical menswear references with modern, avant-garde tailoring. To mark this collaboration, a special opening event will take place tomorrow evening, September 22. This partnership underscores DAAD Dantone’s ongoing commitment to scouting and showcasing international design talent that challenges the boundaries of traditional luxury.

In its tenth edition, Lineapelle Designers Edition, which has hosted a total of 80 events, including fashion shows and presentations, welcoming over 18,000 guests, presents a schedule of 14 events coinciding with Milan Fashion Week. Nine designers will headline the fashion shows taking place from September 23 to 25 at the Leather Fashion Hub (a greenhouse-style marquee set up for the occasion), while five designers will present their collections from September 22 to 26 at Spazio Lineapelle in Piazza Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, Milan.

The designers and brands selected for Spring/Summer 2027 are Absent Findings, Art259Design, Biagini, Davii, Demiurgo Leather Avantgarde, Dienèe, Edis Pala, Florania, Laboratorio Riciclo Pelle, Leonardovalentini, Saman Loira, Simon Cracker, Veiga Milano, Yezael by Angelo Cruciani.

At Milan Fashion Week, continuous lyocell specialist Longcell introduced its latest innovation to Italy: a regenerated cellulosic fiber defined by effortless fluid drape and tactile softness. To explore the material's boundaries, emerging designers from Politecnico di Milano sculpted 20 custom looks that push the limits of cut and construction. The project comes to life in an immersive performance that puts the dynamic, living nature of the fabric front and center.

During Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027, Korean culture and creativity take centre stage in Milan with Contemporary Korean Heritage – Hanbok Collective, an international project showcasing a new generation of designers reinterpreting Hanbok through the language of contemporary fashion. The project is presented as part of the 2026 Traditional Culture Overseas Hub Promotion Project (Hanbok), promoted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea and the Korea Craft and Design Foundation, with the patronage of CSM, to support the international expansion of Korean brands and promote traditional culture through contemporary perspectives. The five brands featured in the project are Happly, Leesle, Mooroots, Ondata, and Sheenseoul.
