Bess Nielsen is Danish and has lived in Paris for many years. She graduated from the Design School in Copenhagen and the Beckman Design School in Stockholm. Her experiences in the fashion world and her knowledge of Indian culture make her an exceptional personality in the textiles sector.
Two traditions: the Scandinavian, rigorous and functional – and the Indian, sublime and refined.
Jan Machenhauer is Danish and lives in Copenhagen. A young graduate of the Copenhagen Design School, he met Bess Nielsen; they collaborated together with several brands before founding Épice in 1999. Passionate about design and fashion, since 2006, he has led the team at the Épice style office in Copenhagen. The brand is caracterized by its strong sense of perfection and creativity.
