Gas Bijoux

In the summer of 1969, the world dreamed of hope and freedom. André Gas, freshly graduated from the École des Beaux Arts de Paris, went back to his native French Mediterranean coast and found in jewellery the best medium to express his artistic vision.Inspired by his first travels to Africa and by the « peace and love » movement, his first creations found an immediate success on the gorgeous beaches and villas of Saint-Tropez, home of Brigitte Bardot and all the glamour of the time.

Gas Bijoux was born.
André Gas has been able to instil his energy and passion on to his children who joined the company at the end of the 90’s. Olivier Gas, as heir to the family tradition, manages image and development, giving the company an international dimension. The partner boutiques are chosen with care, in order to ensure the continuity of the exceptional character and exclusivity of the Gas Bijoux brand.

Marie Gas, in charge of artistic direction, has the constant challenge of combining innovation with tradition. From the design of the jewellery to the point of sale,and not forgetting the accessories, Marie uses trends such as colours, re-creating each year a new kind of landscape that nevertheless seems familiar. She is the inspiration behind original pieces, with her inimitable vision, which is intimate, modern, delicate and resolute.
