CSM — ARTISANAL EVOLUTION SS27
ARTISANAL EVOLUTION
A PLATFORM FOR MADE IN ITALY ARTISANAL EXCELLENCE
Artisanal Evolution is a premier showcase organized by Camera Showroom Milano (CSM) in partnership with Confartigianato Moda, promoting Italy’s finest artisan MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) during Milan Fashion Week and key buying dates.
For the Spring-Summer 2027 season, the initiative will run from September 22 to October 16, 2026, featuring a curated selection of companies from Confartigianato Moda’s regional and provincial divisions. Their collections will be presented in selected CSM-affiliated multi-brand showrooms, providing international buyers with direct access to exceptional Made in Italy craftsmanship and creating valuable opportunities for business development.

MORE THAN A TRADE FAIR: A DRIVER OF BUSINESS GROWTH
Artisanal Evolution is designed to generate tangible commercial opportunities by connecting selected Italian artisan brands with international buyers, press, and distributors. Through a dedicated Incoming Buyer Program, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), international fashion professionals are brought to Milan during Fashion Week, facilitating direct cross-border business connections.
Participating brands are carefully selected by the Camera Showroom Milano (CSM) Technical Committee according to three key criteria:
-> Stylistic Excellence -> Project Solidity -> Global Positioning
Each selected brand combines a distinctive creative identity, high production standards, and a strong commitment to authentic Made in Italy craftsmanship.
Beyond showcasing collections, Artisanal Evolution serves as a business development and growth platform, helping participating brands to:
- Access new domestic and international markets
- Develop commercial partnerships, distribution agreements, and showroom representation
- Strengthen international visibility and long-term brand value.

THE STRATEGIC VALUE OF ARTISANAL EVOLUTION
By bringing together Italian craftsmanship, contemporary design, and targeted B2B networking, Artisanal Evolution provides emerging and established artisan brands with a focused platform to showcase their collections, expand their international reach, and engage with key industry stakeholders.
The initiative supports the continued growth and international positioning of Italian artisanal fashion, while creating meaningful opportunities for sustainable commercial development.

CSM - ARTISANAL EVOLUTION SS27
September 22 — October 16, 2026

The five designers redefining modern hanbok
During Milan Fashion Week SS27, Contemporary Korean Heritage – Hanbok Collective will spotlight a new generation of Korean designers reinterpreting Hanbok through contemporary fashion.
Supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea and the Korea Craft and Design Foundation (KCDF), in collaboration with Studio Zeta showroom and with the patronage of Camera Showroom Milano (CSM), the project aims to connect Korean creativity with the global fashion market, fostering visibility, business opportunities, and international exchange.
From September 22 to October 5, 2026, the five selected designers redefining modern hanbok, will take centre stage in a special exhibition and B2B programme hosted by Studio Zeta showroom, Via Friuli 26 - 20135.
The Press Presentation will take place at Palazzo Isimbardi on September 26, 2026.

Focus on: Happly, Leesle, Mooroots, Ondata, and Sheenseoul, the five Hanbok Collective designers.

HAPPLY
@happly_kr

At 23, Lee Ji-eon experienced the liberating comfort of the traditional hanbok. Happly aims to define a "Next Aesthetic" by deconstructing traditional hanbok structures, and reconstructing them into modern, daily wardrobe pieces. Inspired by historical fashion movements that redefined global style through structural deconstruction, Happly brings Korean heritage into contemporary global fashion. Combining Heritage and Apply, the name Happly reflects the brand's mission to apply traditional Korean design philosophy to modern lifestyle apparel.

LEESLE
@leesle_official

Founded by Leesle Hwang (Hwang-iseul), the brand set out to transform traditional wear into daily street attire. Its core mission is "Heritage Alive," to bring traditional Korean apparel out of museums and off-screen into modern streetwear and global fashion. The label uses traditional hanbok structural elements with modern tailoring to create contemporary fashion.

MOOROOTS
https://en.hanbokwave.com

The designer and founder behind Mooroots is Narae Kang, who launched the brand in 2017. The label redefines traditional Korean hanbok into contemporary, everyday ready-to-wear. Mooroots bridges traditional craftsmanship and modern lifestyle, uniting diverse cultures through inclusive, adaptive design.

ONDATA
@parang.hanbok

Beginning with foundational hanbok elements, Ondata's design approach transforms these codes through modern silhouettes, innovative materials, and diverse cultural influences. Ultimately, the brand envisions gender-neutral, globally resonant garments that move beyond mere historical reproductions, demonstrating how traditional aesthetics can naturally live, adapt, and evolve within modern life.

SHEENSEOUL
https://sheen-seoul.com/

Founded in 2018 to bridge the gap between traditional attire and modern living, Sheenseoul reinterprets Korean hanbok as practical, everyday clothing. The brand offers versatile, accessible streetwear designed to integrate seamlessly into anyone's wardrobe, anywhere in the world. The name itself reflects this philosophy: it combines the Chinese character "Shin" (novelty), "Seoul" (representing the fusion of cultural heritage and modern innovation), and "Sheen" (symbolizing the soft, understated radiance that the hanbok aesthetic brings to daily life).

DROME
@drome_official

Drome is an Italian brand designed by creative director Marianna Rosati. Each collection is created and produced in Florence, where the headquarters are. For Marianna, designing a collection doesn’t just mean comparing materials and colours, but concerns merging the dress container, the sensations conveyed in a picture, and an emotion, as an overlay of multiple invisible layers that merge to form the world that is Drome. The result is not only a product, but a poetic vision that reinvents the notion of classics, with a zealous passion for the materials used and the luxurious quality of being made in Italy.

LATORRE
@latorre_official

In 1965, in Locorotondo, in the heart of the enchanting Valle d'Itria, in Puglia, a small local tailor shop was born, full of ambition and desire for expansion. Driven by a fervent passion for Italian haute couture, Michele Latorre started the production of tailored suits for men, gaining the trust of a loyal clientele. The creative genius and entrepreneurial perspective of Michele, transmitted with dedication to his four sons, have grown the brand, transforming it from a modest family-run tailoring into an authentic emblem of excellence in the panorama of Italian men’s clothing, well-known and appreciated in every corner of the globe.

BATAKOVIC
@batakovicbelgrade

Introducing Batakovic Belgrade, where the worlds of exquisite fashion and unparalleled comfort converge. Nestled in the heart of Belgrade, this iconic brand redefines luxury with a unique blend of style, comfort, and versatility. The journey of Batakovic Belgrade is a narrative of courage, family, passion, and talent.
