100 students organise workshops to reinvigorate the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs.
A group of students from the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs have decided a couple of weeks ago to go on strike and take part in series of self-initiated workshops.
On active strike then! Independent from any pedagogical strategy, the workshops and experiences take place in the school and in the streets of Paris.
Students from all departments and all years are working together on a hot air balloon, a hut and a bridge to try out an utopian school organisation.
Striking students raise their voices to claim for more solidarity and communication within the school, to promote interdisciplinary, and to repossess the spaces.
