Nicollette Tremblay, finalist of "125 years celebrating women.

The work of the 25 year old young Canadian, entitled "This is no icon" was chosen among those from 9 students from the Istituto Marangoni. They competed on the theme "125 years celebrating women".

Nicolette Tremblay’s creation, including a silk organza corset and a satin body, symbolizes silhouettes of iconic women from the worlds of art, movies and fashion. Manuel Rivas and Yahui Yang received the 2nd and the 3rd prizes with their respective works "La porte au monde humain" (meaning "Entrance to a human world") and "Smoking".

The Triumph Inspiration Award French Final took place on May the 5th 2011 at the Drugstore Publicis' terrasse, Champs Elysées, Paris. For the first time, it was broadcast live on the Facebook fan page.

The members of jury, all fashion experts, assessed all projects according to the following criteria : innovation, creativity, concept, aesthetics, design quality, presentation and originality, finally the singularity models.

Thanks to her garments, Nicolette Tremblay is nominated to compete with 36 international finalists at the occasion of the 4th TIA, on July the 6th, 2011, in Berlin.

After this final, the winner will receive a 15.000 euro-check and develop his/her model in collaboration with the designers of Triumph, in order to make it a marketable product. The 2nd and 3rd prizes of the German final of Berlin will receive 10.000 and 5.000 euros.

The three awarded outfits, as well as the special "Kaléidoscope" creation of Manuela Ortiz, will be presented from May the 16th to June the 4th, 2011, at the Galeries Lafayette of Strasbourg, Toulouse and Nice.
