Tradeshows

July 2012, A new fashion fair will be the first event to be staged at the new exhibition grounds in Berlin's new BER airport.

Next Summer, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin will see the arrival of a new tradeshow that aims to complement the German capital’s existing top fashion fairs, Bread & Butter and Premium. Panorama, which describes itself as a home for manufacturers and brands that up to now have been either underrepresented or completely absent, is a collaborative effort between recently formed company, Panorama Fashion Fair Berlin GmbH and the Messe Berlin GmbH organisation.

The fair’s managing partners and curators, Anita and Norbert Tillman (photo)are behind Panorama’s conceptual design: carefully constructed brand scenarios that feature labels from all over the world and present retailers and buyers with an overall picture of how each season will look. In order to achieve this, the organisers intend to use around 40,000 square metres of the Berlin ExpoCenter Airport’s space. The flexible structure of the centre, located at the new BER airport, offers especially national and international visitors ideal conditions for efficient trade-fair visits, with Panorama boasting direct links with the airport and the city centre, as well as comprehensive on-site travel services.

Panorama will run twice a year, in rhythm with Berlin's Fashion Week, dedicating itself to an accessible yet high quality fashion.
