Design S is a selection process that aims to showcase Sweden’s best design solutions, and came at the end of DesignDay, an event dedicated to New Makers and Doers and to the developing new skills, focusing on new production methodology and the pioneers pushing these techniques forward in the design industry. The day was split into four parallel workshops in the morning then, in afternoon at Fotografiska place on the island of Södermalm, Design S took place.
The swedish Trade Minister, Ewa Björling presented the Swedish Design Awards, with established designers and producers awarded of a Design S, focusing on emerging talent through Ung Svensk Form.
