Sidaction and the French Federation of Couture hosted the twelfth annual dinner fashion Sidaction Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Pavillon d' Armenonville in Paris . Gathered around Pierre Bergé and Line Renaud, 600 persons were present .
 
Pierre Bergé stressed that the fight against AIDS is primarily a political struggle. While we can rejoice major advances over the past 20 years ,AIDS is more than ever a reality that must be fought relentlessly.
 
Line Renaud, lady heart Sidaction honored with great emotion to those that carried the disease.
Worldwide, 35 million people living with HIV and the number of HIV / AIDS deaths per year is estimated at 1.6 million.
In France , the number of people living with HIV / AIDS is estimated at 150,000 .
 
Dinner Fashion Sidaction 2014 has raised 659,000 euros . Half of these funds will fund research programs and care and the other half will fund prevention programs and assistance to patients in France and 26 in developing countries.
