The high-fashion consulting expert, Johann Schröder has launched a new creative project to promote the talent of emerging designers: Johann Schröder Consulting.

In fact, the Paris-based agency creates a link between international brands that have a similar philosophy. Each label shares the same fundamental values of craftsmanship, innovation, and quality, that inspired Johann Schröder to start his own project, in order to connect emerging designers worldwide.

Sandro Marzo
The eponymous label of the Italian-born and Swiss-based designer, Sandro Marzo, pushes the boundaries of menswear since 2013. The designer studied at the FHNW Fashion Institute Basel and has worked under the direction of Boris Bidjan Saberi. With a special focus on textiles and pattern making, Sandro Marzo aims to reinvent the classic menswear silhouette. Each collection is focused on a specific theme and conceptual appeal. Sandro Marzo has been awarded with the Best Newcomer Prize at the Design Preis Schweiz contest in 2013, and with the Swiss Design Award in 2014.

KHOURIANBEER
The designer-duo KHOURIANBEER produces series of limited edition objects with an artisanal appeal. Established in 2012, the Barcelona-based brand mainly works with natural elements such as leather and wood, translating architectural and tactile inspirations in timeless furniture, accessories and outerwear pieces. Conceived as functional and wearable works of art, KHOURIANBEER’s creations aim to fuse craftsmanship with futuristic elements. KHOURIANBEER is currently sold worldwide in a selection of top concept-stores, and is developing a special furniture project with the Paris-based luxury shop L’Eclaireur.

Garland Coo
Garland Coo debuted with its first menswear collection in 2012, as the brainchild of the German fashion designer Jasmin Eckerle. The brand was featured in the Outer Dark exhibition at the Museum Angewandte Kunst (Frankfurt, 2013), and showcased in Paris for the first time this year during Paris Menswear FW 15/16. Eckerle finds inspiration in the wild beauty of nature that surrounds her studio located in the mountains of the Black Forest, in Germany. The harsh landscapes, with their colors and mysterious atmospheres, are translated into Garland Coo’s avant-garde designs.

Ainur Turisbek
The self-taught Ainur Turisbek is one of Kazakhstan's most promising designers. Based in Almaty, Turisbek gained experience working under the Italian designer Gianfranco Ferrè. Her dramatic, sensual, and rigorous style convey femininity and strength, through sculptural shapes and clear lines. She presented her first collection during the seasonal Kazakhstan Fashion Week in 2012, and quickly attracted the attention of international press and buyers.

NAVIIV
NAVIIV is an innovative headwear brand that aims to fill the gap between high-end fashion and street-wear. Focused on progressive cuts and high quality materials, NAVIIV develops capsule collections of headpieces, including both basic caps and artsy models. While the design is always clean and sleek, the funky patterns and exotic textures express the brand’s experimental spirit.

Mattison
The LA-based brand Mattison was established in 2012, as a bespoke atelier offering a different perspective on traditional men’s tailoring. In the last year, the brand expanded into ready-to-wear, with the same attention to quality tailoring and contemporary menswear. In 2015, Mattison made its first steps into the European market during Paris Menswear FW 15/16.

Hed Mayner
Focusing on a traditional yet stylish wardrobe, the Israeli designer Hed Mayner mixes the rich cultural heritage of his native country with an utilitarian approach to fashion. Mayner, who started to work on his own fashion designs at the age of 16, trained at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design on the West Bank of Jerusalem, before moving to Paris where he enrolled in the prestigious Institut Français de la Mode. This year, he presented his first menswear collection, which is characterized by refined tailoring and elegant proportions.
