From September 17th to 20th, the Beirut Art Fair will exhibit around 50 international modern and contemporary art and design galleries at the BIEL Center, with the aim to reflect the vision of a ME.NA.SA. labeled art in its wide diversity.

Established and emerging artists will therefore mingle and invite the viewer to share their visions of the world, their dreams or their positions. This year’s edition includes an eclectic program with a range of specific exhibitions and round tables, as well as an award ceremony, namely the Byblos Bank Award. The latter is dedicated to promoting and encouraging the work of young Lebanese photographers. In fact, the prizewinner will receive professional mentoring, which allows him to strengthen his competencies and organize his first solo show. This award will entail the publication of a catalog and a media campaign.

In addition, this season’s edition will put a particular focus on digital art through an initiative named Virtual/Reality, an exhibition curated by Pascal Odille that questions the meaning and the impact of digital art through the presentation of a collection of artworks coming from several backgrounds. Finally, the Beirut Art Fair will also present the 3rd edition of the BLC Bank Design Platform, an initiative dedicated to support young Lebanese creation in the field of design and to bring together design works created in limited series.
