XXX Zegna Spring Summer 2021 Collection

The strong connection with nature that characterize Ermenegildo Zegna has dominated in the Spring Summer Digital Milano Fashion Week show presentation.
This year the Brand is celebrating its 110th anniversary, a year full of contrasts and singular moments for the whole of humanity.
Nature, Man and Machine have something in common: the challenging intrinsic spirit and the force to push forward.
However, Nature also gives an occasion to reconsider the reasons for one's own presence in this world and everyone’s own actions towards it.
Zegna has decided to focus on these topics for the Show presentation that took place on the roof of the wool mill, in the heart of Oasi Zegna, in Piedmont, Italy.

Oasi Zegna is a project of sustainability, where nature and animals cohabit and where a unique richness of diversities are preserved, but also provide raw materials such as the wool for their garments.

Ermenegildo Zegna XXX Summer 2021 collection presents a video where nature, man and machine are naturally involved all together, with a sense of fluidity that characterizes all the collection, whose colors are inspired by nature. Experimenting with dropped shoulders, lowered collars, layered forms and a sense of functionality expressed by outsized pockets and zips that allow volumes to expand, Alessandro Sartori extends the sartorial quest for new hybrid categories that defines his vision of Zegna.

“A moment like this can easily lead to a glorification of flawless precision of the machine – says Artistic Director Alessandro Sartori – but at Zegna, in respect of a humanist tradition that is profoundly Italian, we believe that the human being always sits at the center, in harmony with nature. It is sensitivity and creativity, human qualities par excellence, that get the best out of machines. Without man, everything would be soulless. This project reflects this union of sensibilities, which is also a balance of past and future, of inside and outside, in a cohesive yet multifaceted opus”, Alessandro Sartori said.
