The largest art exhibition dedicated to the British graffiti artist is coming to the UK next month.
The Art of Banksy features 60 original works from one of the most fascinating and talked-about artists in modern history.
The exhibition is not authorized by Banksy and is not curated in collaboration with the artist. It is, therefore, completely non-consensual. The collection showcases pieces that were created by Banksy for private art collectors; on display prints, canvasses, screen prints, sculptures, unique works, and limited-edition pieces mainly dated between the years 1997 to 2008, the period which resulted in Banksy’s most recognizable and well-known works. These include "Girl and Balloon,” "Flower Thrower” and "Rude Copper” alongside some of Banksy’s lesser-known masterpieces Banksy's iconic images.
The Art of Banksy has already registered over 750,00 visitors worldwide in Miami, Melbourne, Amsterdam, Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Auckland, Gothenburg, Toronto, and Sydney.
For the first time, London will host a series of famous pieces realized by the political activist and one of the most talked-about artists of the 21st century, who before long was leaving his artistic mark all over the world. The exhibition will be held in Covent Garden, from May 20 to November 21.
