Japan is protagonist at Pitti Uomo with two special projects

International men's wear trade show Pitti Uomo, scheduled to run from January 10 to 13, 2023, sees Japan once again among its protagonists. After a forced absence, this January, the Fortezza will return to host designers and brands made in Japan featuring two projects that showcase Japanese fashion excellence: J∞Quality Factory Brand Project and Jlia Japan Leather Goods, a special showcase of leading brands in the leather goods sectors.

The project J∞Quality Factory Brand Project brings together some of the best Japanese manufacturers together J-Quality-certified that have invited Yuya Nakata of the Postelegant brand as design director for the occasion. In a dedicated area inside Futuro Maschile, these excellences in Japanese craftsmanship will present a series of garments that, in terms of materials, patterns, sewing specifications, and comfort, offer clothes designed to transcend time, generation, and gender differences to be loved forever. While, Jlia (Japan Leather and Leather Goods Industries Association), which since 1986 has been specialized in promoting and developing Japanese leather goods, presents 6 leading brands in the leather sector in Japan, wihich stand out for the high quality and design of their collections. The brand protagonists are: Kado-Press, Kanpekina, Numero Uno, OAO Footwear, Regal, and The Shoe of Life by H.Katsukawa.

Moreover, some of the most important Japanese department stores and retailers have already confirmed their presence at Pitti Uomo 103. The Japanese buyers coming to Florence include: Barneys Japan, Beams, Isetan Mitsukoshi, Marubeni, Ships, Takashimaya, and United Arrows. Instead, the Japanese brands presenting their collections: A.B.C.L., Bemberg, Boot Black, Cohèrence, Duren, D-Vec, Flower Mountain, Fujitaka, Goldwin, Haver Sack, Ikiji, Invertere, Moonstar, Nanamica, Orbium, Subu, The Chino Revived.
