Strelka, a new school in Moscow

A new postgraduate program in media, architecture and design opens in Moscow next September.

The Strelka Institute is a new school that will offer from the 2010-2011 season a postgraduate program in media, architecture and design. Developed in collaboration with the
AMO design studio and research , part of the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA), an international agency for architecture, city planning and culture analysis.

The Strelka is an indipendent non-profit school, which intends to develop ambitions of creative Muscovite industries.A selected group of student will work on a range of issues concerning Russia an dits role in the world. They will work under the guide of eminent personalities of Russian and international culture.

"The challenges that Russia is facing, needs a new generation of architects and designers", says Ilya Oskolkov-Tsentsiper, President of Strelka.

This ambitious program was launched, with a special event, at the Red October Chocolate Factoryon May 25th.
