Milan Men’s Fashion Week 2025 Calendar

The Milan Men's Fashion Week, scheduled from January 17 to 21, 2025, represents a critical moment for the Italian fashion sector, an industry that is facing strong and significant economic uncertainty.

Milan Fashion Week in January will mark the beginning of a particularly challenging year, a transition moment in which the creativity of our brands, the flexibility and the pragmatism that makes Made in Italy a unique system in the world, the values ​​that respond to instances of time," said Carlo Capasa, president of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion. "The role of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion and Milan Fashion Week is, today more than ever, fundamental in outlining trajectories, building opportunities, encouraging meetings, and intercepting the great opportunities that moments of significant transformations offer. However, there is a greater need than ever for appropriate Government support policies for our industry, a strategic asset of the country so that they can contribute to preserving excellence and efficiency represented by the thousands of companies distributed across the territory, in the name of the ecological transition and digitalization.”

The January edition will offer 68 events: 20 fashion shows of which 16 physical and 4 digital, 38 presentations, 3 presentations by appointment, and 7 events. The brands presenting for the first time Pierre-Louis Mascia, included in the presentation calendar Women's Collection until September 2023 and which will open the week with its fashion show, PDF, emerging brand by Domenico Formichetti already present in the calendar as a presentation for two editions, and SAul Nash, an emerging British brand that previously showed in London.

Brands are back on the fashion show calendar Philipp Plein and Pronounce, the brand of Yushan designers Li and Jun Zhou based in Milan and Shanghai. For the first time in the Milan Fashion Week presentation calendar, the brands Blauer X Pirelli, Federico Cina, Grossi, Hevo, Latorre, Maragno (emerging genderless brand previously present in calendar digital and part of the Designer for the Planet project presented at the Fashion Hub), Montecore, People Of Shibuya, Rubinacci, Qasimi, Rold Skov.

Two important events will also be celebrated during Milan Fashion Week in January anniversaries: the brand Dhruv Kapoor will commemorate the 10th year since its foundation and the brand Latorre, the 60th anniversary. Many brands will present their collections during women's fashion week, including Dsquared2, which for FW25/26 has planned a co-ed fashion show with which it will celebrate 30 years of activity, Fendi, Etro, and Msgm.

On the occasion of the presentation of the calendar, the economic data of the sector were released by the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, which show a critical economic picture: in the first nine months of 2024, the overall turnover of the fashion sector fell by 6.5% compared to the previous year. The contraction was more marked in the core sectors, such as textiles and clothing (-8%). In contrast, related sectors, such as jewelry and beauty, whose growth was reduced to +3.8%, after having exceeded, for example in beauty, +7.5% in the first half of the year. In any case, the turnover for the first nine months of 2024 is still 6% higher than that of the same months of 2019, the pre-pandemic year. Despite the unfavorable context, after two negative quarters, the ISTAT data on income and employment remain positive, furthermore, the comparison with a quarter, the last of 2023, already in contraction authorizes us to predict a stabilization that will contain the annual drop in turnover at around -5%.
