In January 2025, during the Milano Men's Fashion Week FW 2025-26, in addition to Artisanal Evolution, CSM Meets Sustainability, and CSM Culture Club, CSM launches a new format, a fashion show dedicated to haute couture.
ARTISANAL EVOLUTION
From January 17 to February 7, 2025 - in the CSM showrooms participating in the initiative
Artisanal Evolution is an event organized to give visibility to Italian MSMEs (Micro Small and Medium Enterprises), in conjunction with the fashion weeks and for the entire duration of the sales campaigns.
For this season, from January 17 to February 7, 2025, there will be five companies, all exclusively coming from the regional sections of Confartigianato Moda. The brands chosen for Artisanal Evolution come from all over Italy, carefully selected by the CSM technical committee based on quality, capacity, and "Made in Italy" criteria. The project included, for the participating artisan businesses, an accompaniment and training path to fully exploit themselves in the global market, as companies with a heritage of knowledge and know-how. The first appointment was with the creation of an in-person Workshop, on Monday, October 28, 2024, in the exhibition spaces via Friuli 26 in Milan, about the Autumn/Winter 25-26 collections that will be exhibited in Milan this January 2025. On this occasion the brands had the opportunity to showcase both sample items and archive items, demonstrating their potential and production capabilities. This first meeting served to identify an initial selection of companies suitable for participation. Additionally, workshops followed which provided more information and advice so that artisan companies can present themselves in Milan next January with collections already in line with the market. The print map, which will identify the chosen brands via a "star", will be distributed to buyers present in Milan. This choice aims to concentrate and give greater support in terms of communication and visibility to artisan brands, encouraging the stipulation of agency or distribution contracts with showrooms participating in CSM. In 2025, innovation will also concern the installations, exhibition structures will see a new version, and Artisanal Evolution totems will bring the institutional and patronage logos back to this consolidated event.

CSM MEETS SUSTAINABILITY
Monday, January 20, 2025, From 6 pm to 8 pm, piazza dei Mercanti 2 (Palazzo Giureconsulti), Milan
The theme inherent to eco-sustainability and green is a message that CSM aims to be a new flag through which to present "Made In Italy" throughout the world. CSM Meets Sustainability, in collaboration with CBI (Camera Buyer Italia), is among the flagship events of Camera Showroom Milano, which season after season confirms itself as "the place to be" for the sustainable brands represented by the 37 showrooms participating in the association. CSM wants to highlight, to foreign guests, the companies already present in its showrooms, which express greater attention to eco-sustainability. The goal is to give a clear and strong message of how CSM is attentive to these issues and above all to the companies that, with greater attention, have put green measures into practice to protect the environment. The message is communicated through a short film by the teacher and director Ylenia Busolli.
On the occasion of the fashion weeks, that take place in January/February 2025 and June/September 2025, four fashion events will be organized in exclusive locations in Milan. The first appointment is for Monday, January 20, 2025, from 6 pm to 8 pm, in Piazza Dei Mercanti 2 (Palazzo Giureconsulti), Milan.
This eco-sustainability of the textile-clothing supply chain awareness event will see the participation of foreign buyers invited by CSM, with a special "dedicated lounge", and supported by Ice Agenzia.
CSM CULTURE CLUB
Monday, January 20, 2025, From 6 pm to 8 pm, piazza dei Mercanti 2 (Palazzo Giureconsulti), Milan
One of the functions of the CSM association is to be a historical memory of work and the past of the fashion industry. CSM is committed in this way to preserving and describing the fashion profession, despite it being a rather young job, born in 1951 by Florentine Giambattista Giorgini, who gave life to "Made in Italy" with the fashion shows in the Sala Bianca of Palazzo Pitti in Florence. It is from this idea that CSM Culture Club was born, a project already carried out for several seasons during every men's and women's fashion week in Milan: exhibitions, tributes, retrospectives to icons, magazines, historical periods and personalities who have managed to bring innovation, inventiveness, and creativity in the world of fashion. In 2025 the focus of CSM Culture Club will be, for each of the four Milanese fashion weeks, on four different fairs which revolutionized the concept of exhibitions in Italy in the 1980s.
The first appointment, set for January 2025, is dedicated to the L'Altro Uomo fair which took place independently in Florence, in conjunction with Pitti Uomo and Uomo Italia, from 1987 to 1992.
CSM LAUNCHES A NEW PROJECT: THE HAUTE COUTURE FASHION SHOW
Monday, January 20, 2025, at 4.00 pm, VIA San Barnaba 48 (Chiostri Di San Barnaba), Milan
In 2025 – in collaboration with Confartigianato Moda and the support of the ICE Agency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises –, CSM launches a new format dedicated to haute couture craftsmanship, aiming to promote this exclusive heritage. The initiative consists of a collective fashion show of haute couture artisan companies, held during the next fashion week in January 2025. The project will involve five brands, which will have the opportunity to present ten outfits. The event, attended by foreign and Italian buyers, the press, and institutions, intends to offer participating companies the opportunity to develop strategic content to increase their business and strengthen their presence in their market. The brands that will present their collections in this first collective fashion show include Bruna Couture, Giusi Munafo' Couture, Mariateresa Pellegrino, Sartoria Prisciantelli, and Syrtaria.
