This bien­nale invites you to discover the Sun in a differ­ent way, accord­ing to your desires, curi­os­ity and time. It brings together install­a­tions, objects, films, innov­at­ive mater­i­als and immers­ive envir­on­ments. The Sun becomes a start­ing point for rethink­ing our rela­tion­ship to life and tech­no­logy in the face of contem­por­ary chal­lenges, and invites us to create new narrat­ives so that together we can imagine desir­able futures. Many of the projects presen­ted here are new, designed exclus­ively for the exhib­i­tion by artists and design­ers.

The exhib­i­tion is organ­ised around 5 main them­atic areas:

Revital­ising Energy show­cases contem­por­ary objects that use the Sun to produce energy
Helio­trop­ism looks at the rela­tion­ship between our bodies and the Sun
Symbolic Grav­it­ies, conceived as a revolu­tion around an immers­ive work of art, bears witness to the polit­ical power of the Sun
Trans­ition·s looks at the paths we can take to achieve the energy trans­ition
Refrain invest­ig­ates the biolo­gical cycles caused by the Earth’s rota­tion around the Sun
