The Centre national des arts plastiques (National Centre for Visual Arts, CNAP) and La Gaîté lyrique, with Philip Fimmano of Trend Union, will present the selection made from the CNAP collection for Design Oracles exhibition at La Gaîté lyrique @ (Paris), curated by Lidewij Edelkoort.

The conference is held in connection with France Design, a Via and 14 Septembre event during the Milan Furniture Show.

VIA DESIGN 2015:
-Fourteen prototypes for furniture, lighting and interior layouts financed by VIA and created by twelve emerging designers. Fourteen projects ready for producers. With a focus on VIA’s Carte Blanche by Normal Studio: prospective project “Atmosphères” is an invitation to discover a new non-standardised approach to comfort.

Talents & Economy:
Opens up a panorama of some sixty new everyday products and prototypes from a wide range of sectors (sport & leisure, home decoration, high-tech). Made by leading brand names and designed by well-known French talents, these pieces illustrate the role of design in creating added value, whether it be functional, aesthetic or emotional.
Exhibition produced with the financial support of the French Ministry for the Economy and Finance, the APCI (Agency for the promotion of industrial design) and the Lieu du design, and with the collaboration of the IFD (French design institute), Aquitaine Développement Innovation/Prospective Design, Design’in Pays de la Loire, La Cité du design Saint- Étienne and Lille design.

Special event: Tolix will be celebrating the 80th anniversary of A Chair with an exhibition entitled “Face-to-face with an icon”.

For the 3rd time in a row, Moooi is eager and ready to transform the monumental space of 1.700 m2, by showcasing an assembly of inspirational living quarters, timeless product haikus and a new carpet collection, harmoniously absorbed into the breath-taking depths of Rahi Rezvani’s artistic photography.

New Lighting and Furniture collection: This year the Moooi presentation will showcase designs from the current collection and new creations by Marcel Wanders, Studio Job, Bertjan Pot, Arihiro Miyake, Atelier Van Lieshout, Raimond Puts and Jonas Forsman.

The moment has come for Moooi to launch a carpet collection. Il Sentiero dei Nidi di Ragno

In the charming Circolo Marras “Il Sentiero dei Nidi di Ragno” expected an art installation of a large square aviary, wrapped in tulle with inside nests suspended and rotating mechanisms.
The nests-baskets, in woven willow, are now reinterpreted by Antonio Marras through the use of his fabrics, whose colors palette refers to his collections.
The installation is animated by the playful and frisky presence of fifty diamonds birds fluttering and chirping.
