| Operae is a trade exhibition dedicated to self-made design which is annually held in Turin. Design studios, designers, handicraft designers, makers, digital designers and, starting from 2012 edition, graphic designer take part in this event: many heterogeneous personalities that allow people to discover and appreciate the liveliness of this design dimension where crafts and design process blend together. During the exhibition a series of events are organized to deepen the dynamics of self-production, themes related to it and the different directions it could take in the future. It offers a new point of view on design, offering opportunities for meetings, business, analysis and comparison on theme of creativity and self-production. During Operae products made in small series and limited editions can be displayed and purchased: items resulting from the creativity and work of design professionals who directly manage their entire production chain (from the idea to its realization, communication and distribution). Operae is also a place where to learn more about other European countries and Design Schools’ self made design. | ||
