To accompany its launch, the luxury shoe brand CAZABAT is opening a pop-up store in the heart of Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Paris. The temporary boutique, located at 20 rue Boissy d’Anglas, will host the brand’s first collection designed by its eponymous designer, Jean-Michel Cazabat.

WWD China and Samaritaine Paris invite ten young Chinese designers to present unique creations that blend craftsmanship, artisanal skill, and innovation. Inspired by iconic figures from art and literature (such as Jules Verne, Stendhal, Monet...), as well as cinema and classics of Chinese literature, each designer reinterprets the rich intangible cultural heritage of China. One silhouette recalls the form of ceramics, a crinoline structure evokes a lantern, while a down dress utilizes the bamboo weaving technique from Jiangnan... By freely expressing their creativity, they revisit traditional techniques such as the gold and silver thread embroidery of Guangdong, the sculptural embroidery typical of Huangzhong County, or the Sunflower embroidery of the Tu ethnic group.

Curated by Rosalie Huang, this exhibition offers a fresh perspective on a new generation of sustainable fashion designers: Chen Peng, Feng Chen Wang, Susan Fang, Caroline Hu, Shuting Qiu, William Shen, Katrina Wu, Leaf Xia, Yang Yingying, Zhi Chen.

This project also celebrates the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France, fostering deeper exchanges within the fashion industry.

Fashion Farm Foundation (FFF) will transform the second day of the Paris Fashion Week (PFW) into an exclusive celebration of Hong Kong fashion design as part of the international programme, HKFG SS25. FFF, along with seven fashion labels, will introduce the Presentation, Showcase, and Networking event.



FFF is set to present the latest Spring and Summer collections of these local brands, including A Studio, Demo, Ip-Axis Studio, Kinyan Lam, Midnightfactory, Pabepabe, and Reverie By Caroline Hú. During the event, KInyan Lam will be marking its debut presentation in Paris, while Pabepabe will also unveil its latest designs through a captivating fashion presentation, alongside showcasing SS25 pieces from all seven brands.

Still inspired by the theme of a festive night, this year the Artistic Director focused on this suspended time that follows the last moments of the night. This in-between where the immaculate whiteness of dawn meets the last glimmers of the stars.

"I keep a magical memory of parties until the end of the night, when we leave the dance floor to find the first rays of the sun." confides the Artistic Director who wanted to explore this singular duality of moments here. Playing with contrasts, exploring chiaroscuro, she imagines two versions for each set that oppose and respond to each other.

Concept Korea, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism will unveil the 2025 SS collections of three Korean brands: EENK by Hyemee Lee, MMAM by Hyun Park, and RE RHEE by Junbok Lee and Hyunjung Joo.

The French-speaking designers' event takes part in “Refaire le monde”, the Francophonie Festival. It will take place in Paris on October 1st, 2024 evening and on the opening night of the Festival. This event will feature the talents of about thirty designers selected by a panel of international experts (Jacob Abrian, Roberta Annan, Serge Carreira, Khanyi Mashimbye, Bohan Qiu, Amy Verner, Maryline Vigouroux). Each designer will present a piece from their collection representing their country. This unique and collective initiative will provide an opportunity for emerging and established French-speaking designers to present their creations to the public.

Initiated by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and linked to the Francophone Summit to be held on October 4 and 5, 2024 on the theme of “creating, innovating and entrepreneurship in French”, “Refaire le monde” (‘Reimagining the World’ in English) aims to reach as many French-speaking individuals as possible, both in France and in the wider French-speaking community worldwide. A vibrant, multi-disciplinary event running from October 2 to 6, 2024, “Refaire le monde” stands as an invitation to discover French-speaking cultures and societies and to meet leading figures, whether well-known or not, inventing and shaping the French-speaking world of today and tomorrow.

"There Was a Little Ship" denounces a youth immersed in a standardized reality, revealing the hidden atrocities in popular tales to raise awareness. The young creators of Casa93, by designing contemporary costumes for the performers of Cabaret de Poussière with twenty-five upcycled outfits thanks to donations from the house of Fursac, offer a bold vision of tomorrow's men's wardrobe. This performance, renewing the classic fashion show with inclusive and societal values, establishes a profound link between social dimensions and creativity. Their collection, exploring contemporary society from a dystopian perspective, uses the ship as a symbol of youth aspiring to transhumanity. The creations, transitioning from darkness to color, embody an awakening and a reclamation of self, inviting critique and defiance of established structures.
