Pitti Bimbo 102 launches exclusive collaboration with Spanish brand Bobo Choses The 102nd edition of the children's fashion and lifestyle trade show, Pitti Bimbo, which will take place in Florence from January 21 to 22, 2026, launches a new collaboration with the Spanish brand Bobo Choses. Soshiotsuki wins the 2025 LVMH Prize for Young Designers The Japanese designer Soshi Otsuki, 35, founder of the menswear brand Soshiotsuki, is the winner of the 12th edition of the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers. He will receive a 400,000€ endowment and will be mentored for one year by a team of LVMH experts. read more

Dior and Azzedine Alaïa, a double exhibition in Paris to celebrate two masters of haute couture Galerie Dior and the Azzedine Alaïa Foundation join forces to present an exhibition project curated by Olivier Saillard and featuring over 100 archival pieces from the historic maison collected by the Tunisian designer, many of which have never been exhibited before. In parallel, starting December 1, an exhibition will feature the creations of the two maison. read more

The 2025 Fashion Trust Arabia Prize unveiled the jury The non-profit organization Fashion Trust Arabia unveiled its judging panel for the seventh edition, celebrating design talent across the Middle East and North Africa. The finalists are 18 emerging designers from the Middle East and North Africa competing across six categories, and three designers from India. The ceremony is held in Doha on November 22, 2025. read more

LVMH opens applications for the 13th edition of the Prize for Young Designers Fashion designers from all around the world have until January 11 to submit their applications at lvmhprize.com. The prize is open to designers aged from 18 to 40 years old who have created at least two collections of women’s, men’s, or unisex ready-to-wear. The award semifinalists will gather for a showroom event on March 4 and 5, 2026, during Paris Fashion Week. Their work will be presented digitally, and the public will be invited to judge the competing collections starting March 5. read more

Met Gala 2026: the exhibition will have as its theme "Costume Art" Starting May 10, 2026, Costume Art will feature artworks from across The Met collection in dialogue with garments from The Costume Institute. The show will inaugurate the new, nearly 12,000-square-foot Galleries adjacent to the Great Hall, which will display The Costume Institute’s annual spring show and be named for the late Condé M.
