The Fall Winter 2025 - 26 season of Shanghai Fashion Week, from March 25 to 31, 2025 is a key highlight of the "First Shanghai" Spring Series initiative. This edition of Shanghai Fashion Week continues to build an internationally attractive platform, fostering deep global fashion industry cooperation and shaping the future of the country's fashion economy.
As the opening show, Chinese heritage fashion brand EP YAYING will unveil its latest collection. Under the theme "Yaying·Shanghai", the brand seamlessly integrates traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology, weaving Shanghai's urban landscape and Jiangnan's cultural heritage into its designs. Through fashion, EP YAYING continues to shape a contemporary Eastern narrative.
The event will also showcase a diverse array of themes, the power of technology infused into the catwalk, cross-industry collaborations fostering symbiosis, and heritage Chinese brands continuously innovating. Just as Visa, a global leader in digital payments, has collaborated with Shanghai Fashion Week over the years, this season, it continues to support Chinese emerging creative forces. Visa will support Short Sentence's latest collection showcase at the XINTIANDI Main Tent of Shanghai Fashion Week. Additionally, during this season, Visa will host the "GenVisa Creator Summit" in Shanghai, attracting top digital content creators from the Asia-Pacific region to experience the fashion week. Through their influence, Visa aims to bring Chinese original design to the global stage.
THREEGUN, a heritage Chinese brand celebrating its 88th anniversary, will collaborate with an independent designer to break traditional boundaries, transitioning from innerwear to outerwear and reshaping consumer perceptions. The humanoid robot G1 by Unitree Robotics will make its Shanghai Fashion Week debut, while NMTG, in collaboration with artists, will present a "Cyber Horse" art installation exploring the avant-garde interplay between humans and machines. BillionDevon will employ VR technology to construct a futuristic romantic aesthetic, while HEMU will revive the mysterious allure of ancient Loulan through traditional craftsmanship. Designer brands such as COMME MOI, XU ZHI, and YOUWEI, known for their distinctive designs and exceptional craftsmanship, will also unveil their latest collections. International brands including Italy's Lorena Antoniazzi, Vietnam's LSOUL, and the American label Auteur will make their debut appearances. Meanwhile, Hong Kong-based innovative heritage brand Sparkle by Karen Chan and celebrity-favorite AS Dalio will showcase at the XINTIANDI Main Tent for the first time.
The 19th season of LABELHOOD PIONEER FASHION & ART FESTIVAL will once again take place at ROCKBUND, featuring emerging brands such as Papi Lav, LE NGOK, ZITA TAN, GUEST HOUSE, TONGWANG, and LELALES. These brands will present their collections in a presentation format, marking their debut in the official Shanghai Fashion Week schedule. The Shanghai Fashion Week GLAM showcase at New Bund 31 will feature eight groups of domestic and international eveningwear and bridal brands, with British luxury eveningwear label MARCHESA making its first-ever China debut. The KIDSWEAR segment at Jing An 800 Show will spotlight international leading and independent children's fashion brands, including South Korea's rising brand PRANKERS, making its first appearance in China.
For the first time, The Walt Disney Company China will collaborate with ten Chinese brands and designers to launch a "Toy Story: 30 Years and Beyond" themed runway show. At the same time, The full collection of close to 200 show pieces will debut on the runway on March 27 and a selection of show looks showcased at a themed pop-up showroom in Zhang Yuan for two weeks.
On April 1, marking the grand finale of Shanghai Fashion Week AW25, Nike Women "Victory Lap" will take the stage, celebrating the power of women from running and track & field. Bringing together elite athletes, fashion designers, and rising icons, this showcase deconstructs the essence of sport through design, redefining the look of sport with an immersive sound and light experience.
During Shanghai Fashion Week, the MODE Shanghai Fashion Trade Show AW25 will be held at the United Centre in Changning District. This season, the trade show will welcome trend-leading professional showrooms from China and abroad, gathering over 200 brands and enterprises, with international brands comprising more than 50%, spanning Europe, the Americas, Japan, and Korea. Notably, under the "Africa Reimagined China-Market Entry Project", top luxury fashion brands from Africa will make their collective debut at MODE, introducing the innovative design, sustainability, and cultural fusion to the Chinese market. MIK Fashion, a key partner in bringing international creative forces to MODE, will showcase 12 distinct Korean brands, offering a fresh take on K-Fashion.
Particularly, Shanghai Fashion Week continues to strengthen its position as "Asia's largest fashion trade season", showcasing over 50,000 square meters of original fashion commerce, attracting leading department store groups, benchmark buyer boutiques, and key distributors. Beyond MODE, major trade fairs such as Ontimeshow, and Bridal Moda will also return to Shanghai's fashion venues. This season, Notes Shanghai, a perfume and fragrance trade fair, will debut as an official Shanghai Fashion Week partner, fostering deeper collaboration between the fragrance and fashion industries. Additionally, showrooms Blooming And The Cool Hunter will join the official schedule for the first time.
