The psychology of interior design is a science which studies how internal spaces influence human behavior and how the mind is able to modify surrounding contexts, individuating the consonance between interior and exterior.
In the article "10 WAYS TO STUDY" in the magazine Focus, they suggest to ”select a spot to study" a calm, orderly and well-lit space which helps the mind to reason, thanks to an "automatic effect of conditioning" called priming, which is the moment to concentrate and dedicate oneself to studying.
THE GALLERIA ROSSELLA COLOMBARI draws inspiration precisely from this concept of a "space for concentration" for the exhibition "ARCHI-STUDIO" during the Milan Design Week 2019. The exhibition concept presents the experiences and instruments of research of the spaces where Italian architects of the twentieth century studied, designed, and discussed their ideas, which were often later translated into actual projects, masterpieces of Italian Architecture and Design.
