Alessandro Enriquez is an eclectic Italian designer who has become today a real point of reference in the world of fashion. After his bachelor in Arts in 2004, Alessandro Enriquez studied Fashion Design in London Central St Martin and at the Marangoni Institute in Milan. He immediately started a career as a designer and worked for Costume National, developing more and more his strong creative point of view. Alessandro likes to play with colors and with the images and symbols of the great heritage of popular culture and as a true passionate ‘collector’ of vintage clothes and illustrations, he often collaborates with film companies such as Universal, Metro Goldwin Meyer, Warner Bros to create amazing capsule collections. From Alessandro’s creative and eclectic flair, 10X10 Anitaliantheory and subsequently, the homonymous brand Alessandro Enriquez were born, an ironic and innovative philosophy of the Italian spirit.

Julfer brings you back in time. We are in the middle of 2000’s, possibly in LA. It makes you jump directly to the City of Fame and Excess, when the pop culture was all about sex, drinking and partying. Moments when the low waist denim became baggy, the top corsets started to experience the first cut outs, and every piece was ensemble by strings and crossed laces. The woman was sexy, extravagant, daring and carless. Julfer keeps the heritage and nature of pop culture, including a glimpse of 80’s in the journey. Founded in 2017, Nemozena was first conceived as a marriage of Arabic tradition and classic Italian style. The word ‘Nemozena’ can be broken down into two words. Nemo, derived from Latin meaning Nobody, and Zena, derived from the Greek word for Living. The original Greek word could be translated as ‘belonging or sacred to Zeus’, the ancient Greek God of Olympus. And from that single colour that embodied those two concepts, the sacred living and the unknown, emerged Nemozena.

The duo met while studying at Parsons School of Design eventually collaborating on their senior thesis, which became their first collection as Proenza Schouler. Named after the designers’ mothers’ maiden names, Proenza Schouler is defined by its fusion of craftsmanship and attention to detail with a sense of refined ease.
