Karimoku New Standard, the Japanese brand for contemporary wood furniture, and Giroflex, known for quality ergonomic work chairs, collaborate to launch limited-edition timber task chair at the Milan Design Week.
For the occasion of its 150th anniversary, the Swiss chair manufacturer Giroflex, known for high-quality ergonomic work chairs, joined forces with Karimoku New Standard and collaborated with design studio BIG-GAME to develop and conceive the work chair for our times, combining the strengths of both manufacturers.
Designed in a three-way collaboration between Giroflex, Swiss design studio BIG-GAME and Karimoku New Standard (KNS), the giroflex 150 is a distinctly contemporary interpretation of the classic wooden office chair, a celebration of the beauty of natural materials, and an homage to a century and a half of Giroflex design.
